BIO

James "JP" Poulter stands at the intersection of technological innovation and human flourishing. As a leading AI strategist, author, and speaker, he's built a career on helping organizations embrace emerging technologies in ways that amplify human creativity, dignity, and purpose.

Through his AI transformation consultancy ThreePoint Labs, JP works with nonprofits, faith-based organizations, and social enterprises — including Dunham & Company in Dallas — to develop practical AI implementation strategies. His client roster spans from Christian Vision and RightNow Media to Biblica and Missional AI, where he combines technical expertise with theological and ethical frameworks that ensure technology serves human values rather than displacing them.

JP's entrepreneurial journey began with Vixen Labs, a pioneering voice AI and conversational design agency he founded and grew into a market leader. Following a successful exit to House 337 in 2023, he founded ThreePoint Labs, bringing his startup insights and innovation methodologies to a broader range of organizations facing the challenges and opportunities of digital transformation.

Before launching Vixen Labs, JP spent nearly a decade at The LEGO Group, where he served as Head of Emerging Platforms and Senior Manager of Global Social Media for LEGO Life. During his tenure, he helped one of the world's most innovative companies navigate the rapidly evolving digital landscape, developing strategies for emerging technologies while maintaining the brand's core values of creativity and play.

Today, JP serves as Board Member at Christian Aid, Board Advisor for Christian Vision, and Board Director of charity tech startup Raiser—bringing both technical acumen and theological depth to conversations about AI's role in faith and society. He's a recognized thought leader in the intersection of technology and ethics, contributing regularly to industry publications and speaking at major conferences worldwide.

JP is represented by Scamp Speakers in the UK and Voices To Connect in the US, delivering keynotes, workshops, and masterclasses on AI strategy, innovation culture, and digital transformation. His speaking engagements have included Forbes conferences, CES in Las Vegas, and the Carey Nieuwhof Leadership Podcast, as well as specialized events for sectors ranging from banking to education to nonprofit leadership.

His book AI @ Work: Rewire your team and yourself for the AI Revolution launches in August 2026. The book introduces his "AI Nervous System" framework—a practical approach to implementing AI that balances technological capability with human values, ethical considerations, and organizational culture. The framework has already been adopted by organizations across multiple sectors seeking to navigate AI transformation thoughtfully and effectively.

JP is based in the UK and works with organizations globally.

TESTIMONIALS
JP has an incredible ability to make complex technological concepts accessible and exciting for any audience.  - Global Head of Innovation, Fortune 500 Company
The hardest thing about working in AI isn’t the technology – it’s convincing people that the ways they work and think have to change with it. James gets that challenge better than almost anyone, and he gives you something rare: a genuinely practical path through it. - Emerson Sklar, Chief Evangelist, Amazon Alexa
Every civilisational shift demands a choice: we can let it happen to us, or we can shape it. AI at Work is a guide for leaders who choose the latter – who see in this moment not just disruption but the possibility of genuine cultural renewal. JP shows us how to build organisations that are more human, not less. - Baroness Philippa Stroud, Executive Chair, Alliance for Responsible Citizenship
This is a really important and timely read. Based on our own research at Edelman we know that, much more than the technology itself, among the most challenging things about AI is societal trust. JP understands that better than almost anyone writing on this subject, and AI at Work gives leaders a practical framework for building it: with their teams, their organisations, and the people they serve. - Nigel Miller, Regional Chief People Officer, Edelman
In today’s fast-changing landscape, you’re either engaged with the future or you’re not. This book helps make sure you’re ready and provides an essential, pragmatic guide for mapping the change your business needs to embrace AI today and in the years to come. - Marshall Manson, CEO, FleishmanHillard UK
Most AI books tell you to move fast, but this one tells you to listen to your gut; that is your ethical intelligence! A sharp, practical guide for leaders who understand that governance isn’t the enemy of innovation – it’s the enabler of it. - Patricia Shaw, CEO & Founder, Beyond Reach
AI can be a force for good but only if we keep technology from eroding our humanity. I love James’ book because while teaching us how to use AI effectively, it never loses sight of the importance of preserving uniquely human attributes like strategic thinking, empathy, and agency. - Jennifer Powers, Founder & Director, Unplugged Coalition

Transform Your Organization with AI

In AI at Work: How to Build a Full Stack Organization, James Poulter delivers a bold, practical framework for implementing AI in ways that enhance rather than replace human work.

As fears of agentic obsolescence abound, organisations are struggling to implement AI in ways that enhance rather than replace human work. AI at Work introduces a full-stack approach that balances technological capability with human values, ethics, and practical application. Rather than focusing on technical capabilities or dystopian warnings, it utilizes a full-stack approach to harness AI's benefits while preserving what matters most — a firm's people, its values, and its unique organizational identity.

The global AI market is projected to reach $1.8 trillion by 2030, with organizations racing to implement AI solutions. Yet whilst 83% of executives report AI is a top priority, only 23% have a comprehensive implementation strategy. This book fills the critical gap between theoretical AI books and technical implementation guides by offering a practical framework applicable across industries, with equal emphasis on technological capability, ethical considerations, and real-world applications.

What You'll Learn:

Strategic frameworks for AI implementation across departments
